About Our Roofing Work in Lexington, OK

We judge our work by the parts you rarely see: the starter strip, the nail line, the step flashing tucked behind siding. Those details decide whether a roof sheds water for decades or starts leaking after a few hard seasons, so that is where we spend our time.

Why the small parts get our attention

Most roof leaks we trace don't start in the middle of the shingle field. They start at the edges and penetrations: a pipe boot whose rubber collar has cracked in the sun, a valley where shingles were cut too short, a chimney where the counterflashing was swapped for a bead of caulk. The shingles held up. The detail around them did not.

So we build our work around those spots. On a roof replacement we install drip edge at the eaves and rakes, run ice and water underlayment through valleys and around penetrations, and nail every shingle inside the manufacturer's nail zone so the wind rating printed on the bundle actually applies. On a roof repair we follow the water back to where it gets in, which is often a few feet uphill from the stain on your ceiling.

We hold an Oklahoma residential roofing license, an Oklahoma commercial roofing license and an Oklahoma general contractor license. That covers the shingle roof on your home and the low-slope roofs on commercial buildings, along with the rotted decking or fascia that sometimes turns up once an old roof comes off.

How we work on every job

Tear-off down to the deck

We remove the old layers instead of roofing over them, so we can see the decking. Soft or delaminated plywood is replaced before anything new goes on top, and we show you photos of what we found.

Ventilation checked, not assumed

Attic heat bakes shingles from below through an Oklahoma summer. We compare intake at the soffits with exhaust at the ridge and correct the balance, because a poorly vented attic shortens shingle life and can cause condensation on the deck in winter.

Line-item written estimates

Your estimate breaks out tear-off, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and any decking allowance as separate lines. When the bare deck reveals rot nobody could spot from the attic, we pause, walk you through the pictures and get your approval before that extra work begins.

A clean yard when we leave

We tarp flower beds and lean plywood against windows near the drop zone. At the end of the day we run a magnetic sweeper over the lawn and driveway and haul away the debris.

Where we work

We're based in Lexington and work on homes and commercial buildings across the surrounding area, from Purcell, Goldsby and Slaughterville to Noble and Norman. Our roof inspections and storm damage repair follow the same detail checks as a full replacement, and our gutter work is part of it too: correctly pitched runs and secured hangers keep water off the fascia and away from your foundation.
